New Features, New Categories: Selling on Amazon with Shopify Just Got Easier
With the Amazon sales channel, you can sell on the world’s largest online marketplace simply and conveniently through Shopify. Since the channel’s launch, U.S. and Canadian Shopify store owners have made millions in sales and fulfilled tens of thousands of Amazon orders with Shopify, making it one of the fastest growing sales channels.
Today, we’re announcing the ability to create listings in seven new product categories directly from Shopify, and support for the Amazon Brand Registry.
Now, more U.S. and Canadian Shopify store owners can seamlessly sell on Amazon and make use of its massive marketplace. You can create Amazon listings, manage inventory, and fulfill orders all from the comfort of Shopify.
Create More Listings in More Categories
Want to reach more customers? Amazon serves millions of customers every year—more than 300M as of last year, to be specific.
With the launch of seven (count ‘em, seven) new product categories, you can get your products in front of the Amazon masses in minutes. Create listings in a total of eight product categories right from Shopify:
- Clothing and Accessories
- Health and Household (NEW)
- Beauty and Personal Care (NEW)
- Home and Kitchen (NEW)
- Patio and Garden (NEW)
- Sewing, Arts and Crafts (NEW)
- Sports and Outdoors (NEW)
- Toys and Games (NEW)
Brand Registered? No Problem!
Starting today, if you’re Brand Registered on Amazon, you can submit Brand Registered listings from Shopify. Just add your Amazon registered brands in Shopify to easily create new listings and manage your existing listings.
This has been a hot feature request. Why?
Amazon Brand Registry doesn’t just protect makers and brand owners, setting yourself up as a brand owner also makes listing on Amazon even easier.
For example, as an Amazon Brand Registered seller, you get full control of your listings and there’s no need for UPC/EAN codes.
Now that this feature is here, you can create Amazon Brand Registered listings without ever leaving Shopify.
After you’ve had a chance to check out the Amazon channel (and maybe snag a few sales), be sure to let us know what you think by leaving a review in the Shopify App Store.
